DLP Reflections: Cycle 4, Week 8: At the End....
Well, when I do my weekly reflections, I like to make a little video. But, for some reason, my computer is not recording sound, and I don't have to patience to trouble shoot! It has been a long week (I started writing this on Friday, today is Monday)! Testing is finally finished, and we are quickly approaching Federal Programs monitoring (all Title I schools in the district with have their ACIP evidence box reviewed as well as question and answer sessions for faculty and staff) We are also shifting into end of year academic celebrations (for students and my own children), field day, Rising 7th Grade visits (from four different elementary schools), Rising 9th Grade visits (just a quick walk next door), and probably a few other things that have just slipped my mind. Oh May.....you bring us the end, but with so much baggage! As usual, I am playing catch up. I feel like I have been absent for this entire cycle. Nice to see your VLOG back!!!!! I'm glad you are getting back to normal. In your reflection, you mentioned new beginnings when routines are interrupted. I love you guys used Kahoot as a game-based idea to review rules and procedures. Try to extend past knowing the rules/ procedures to exhibiting those on a daily basis. Maybe consider having students create their own game questions, videos or even badging systems to recognize when others go above and beyond based on the school expectations. I hope you have a productive uninterrupted week observing and meeting with your teachers as well as have a wonderful meeting with your principal.
