DLP Reflection: Week 2
DLP Reflection Week 9: Getting Certified and Getting GSuite!!
So......I went to an EdTech Bootcamp the 13th and 14th of October in Sheffield. I learned so much during those two days with our instructor Nate. The other DLP coaches and I are moving toward getting Level 1 Google Certified and this boot camp was our first step. I took my test this past Saturday and..........I passed!!! Check out my letter of commendation! It took me 2 hours and 50 minutes, and I am so glad I got it done. Now, on to Level 2! Hey April,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your video blog! I totally agree with you that in a school setting where there can be many uncertainties day to day, it can be quite overwhelming and difficult to stay focused. Having a goal, such as yours will allow you to reflect each day on how focused and committed you were to your goals of helping teachers. As a coach, I had a clipboard with everyone in my building's name, if I interacted, had a conversation, provided support, modeled a lesson, participated in a team meeting, basically anything, I documented with a mark by that person's name for the week. It served as a great visual of where my focus had been for the week and allowed me to be intentional if I had not supported others in ways I initially planned to. Whatever way you decide to stay focused, I know one thing is true - YOU WILL BE A SUPPORTIVE COACH!
